Accessibility

The Tin Shed Company LLC operates this site.

Good For Humans should be good for people using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or other ways of browsing. We want everyone to be able to read our site and get in touch.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a promise that every person will have a perfect experience.

What we have checked and improved

We reviewed our public pages with automated accessibility checks and keyboard testing. The review covered navigation, buttons, questions and answers, the demo’s Before and After views, the assessment form, and the website analyzer.

  • Added consistent visible keyboard focus, including on links, buttons, form fields, and scrollable panels.
  • Improved demo text contrast, including the dimmed terminal examples and purchase options, to meet AA contrast requirements.
  • Added linked labels to analyzer fields, and announcements for progress, errors, and results.
  • Reviewed image descriptions for the seal, coffee photography, and product photos. Repeated decorative images are kept out of the reading order.
  • Added proper keyboard and selected-state support to the demo controls. FAQ buttons tell assistive technology whether an answer is open or closed.

Known limitations

The analyzer’s website preview is an image supplied by another service. It has a description identifying the website, but it does not provide an accessible version of everything shown in that image. The adjacent text view offers an extract, not the whole website, and previews may be unavailable.

Automated checks and keyboard tests cannot find every barrier. We have not completed an independent accessibility assessment or testing with people using the full range of screen readers and other assistive technology. We do not claim certified or complete WCAG compliance.

If you hit a barrier

Please tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. If you are comfortable sharing your browser or assistive technology, that can help us understand the problem.
